Cooking With Goodz® started as a quiet dream in my kitchen, but now it’s my full-time joy. Raised in a home filled with the aromas of my mom’s legendary middle eastern foods—za’atar-dusted flatbreads, fragrant lamb stews, and trays of honey-soaked baklava—I was hooked on cooking before I could reach the stovetop. Life took me into online e-commerce back in 2007, where I built a career selling everything from cell phones to baseball bats. But the pots and pans never stopped calling.

With three grown kids now out on their own—my youngest just headed off to college—and three grandkids who light up my world, the house suddenly got a lot quieter. A wife and 6 fluffy goldendoodles fill the silence with wagging tails and the occasional kitchen-counter heist. Empty-nest life felt like the perfect moment to flip the script: trade reselling for spice blends and finally chase the passion I’d had for years.
